Pros of Cube Touring Easy-Entry Bike:

  • The selling price is less than $1,000 – with this price range, the Cube experts have creatively designed a very comfortable riding bike to please the buyers.
  • A high-quality aluminum frame – a Typical ‘Dutch’ or ‘shopper’ bike geometry with a high, upright riding position.
  • A saddle with extra cushioning keeps you for long hours with light, comfortable and efficient riding – A very comfortable riding bike.
  • The bike is stiff enough; the rear triangle is surprisingly responsive when you can afford acceleration in riding – power delivery is so unexpectedly impressive.
  • The saddle was good, as were the 40mm tires – very little reason to suggest changing anything for comfort reasons.
  • The SR Suntour NEX, 63mm travel, helps smooth the ride on the rough road surface, but not for rough off-road or mountain trail.
  • The shifters and drivetrain are capable of doing what you want.
  • Suitable to use by tour lover – you can go a long-distance on the saddle.
  • This bike has three different choices of the frame to suit your needs and likings – Men: 46, 50, 54, 58, 62, Easy Entry: 45, 49, 53, Trapeze: 46, 50, 54

Cons of Cube Touring Easy-Entry Bike:

  • The brake system is V-brake due to cut the price of £100 – in the early model, the brake system is hydraulic disc brake. You can ask the sale support for a price to replace the V-brake with the Disc brake if you like it.
  • The front fender is too short, possible mud and water splash during the rain session – You can ask for sale support to replace it with the longer fender.
  • The front fork is not lockable type – some riders would like to lock up the suspension while riding the flat and smooth city road.

Product Review by Bike Experts:

Reviewed by Matt Lamy/ on AUG 30, 2018

Pros and Cons:
  • Pros: Very relaxed and comfy ride; surprisingly impressive under power; fulsome spec.
  • Cons: Fairly heavy, not particularly cheap, short front mudguard.
Actual Tested results:
  • The slight downside is that communication between the wide handlebar and front wheel feels a little long-distance at first, and initially, you may find the Touring Easy-Entry just a little unresponsive. This calms down with use and actually improves with speed.
  • When it comes to climbing, you’d have to be built like Roger Ramjet to get any weight down over the front, but power transfer is good, and on descents, there’s a surprising element of playfulness.
  • In conjunction with the other measures designed to promote comfort, the fork certainly does a decent job of keeping the front end untroubled by irregular road surfaces.
  • Value and conclusion – So the Touring Pro is a perfect bike to ride, with many useful extras and a decent enough selection of components. What’s not to like? For me, as a tester, not much. But what if I actually wanted to buy this bike? Then I’d have to pay £649 for the pleasure, and that’s quite a lot of money.
  • Verdict – With performance somewhere between ‘tourer’ and ‘shopper,’ the Cube Touring Pro is a fine leisure and commuting bike.

Final message and overall rating by Matt Lamy:

The Cube Touring Pro is a comfortable and efficient bike with a surprising performance level that belies its looks. It’s not an out-and-out tourer, but it’s far more than a shopper. The only minor downside is the price. Considering Cube is normally ahead of the market on value, the Touring Pro cost is a slight disappointment. (Please note: Matt Lamy refer to the selling price at £749.00 in 2018, but today the selling price from CRC is £649.00 and the selling price from Wiggle is $898.87)

Overall rating: 8/10.

The bike is perfect for my ways to the job, market, school…It’s what I wanted. I received it in a few days in perfect conditions. I just had to adjust a few things, and in 20 minutes after receiving it, I did my first cycle. So I recommend it. The quality, materials, comfortable.

  1. I am a novice and have no particular knowledge on any bikes. This article is detailed in the specification of the Cube Touring Easy-Entry Bike. The sellers details and prices are listed clearly as are the pros and cons of having such a bike. Ratings of different features are given out of 10. The overall rating is 8 out of 10 which is very good. This is a comprehensive article/post and I would certainly take notice of it if I was in the market for one of these.
