I love this bike! It’s been years since I’ve been on a bike and to get myself back, I decided to go e-bike (to help with tough hills) and have been enjoying this daily.

Started by doing 5 miles, then 7, now doing 24-26 miles daily (on Eco) with the battery still showing 4 bars. From the hills I tend to go to PAS 4 or 5 just for the hell of it. The customer service has also been very helpful with replacing a defective part. Responds within 24-48 hours (waiting for a part now so I will update when I receive it!)

I purchased a Ecotric 20″ fat tire three years ago for my 65th birthday. After putting over 5,000 miles on my fat tire I decided I wanted to upgrade and chose the Seagull.

Like the fat tire before it, it’s a great bike! I live in the Sierra foothills, so I have a lot of steep inclines to deal with. Although the fat tire handled the inclines, it took a lot of effort. The Seagull handles them with ease. I highly recommend the Seagull.

Definitely the best bang for your buck, however, does come with some defects.

The rims and spokes certainly do not handle the weight or specifications of the bike. Easily bent and spokes constantly have to be specifically tightened or very rough ride.

I noticed after 300 miles I was losing torque and by 350 miles the battery went completely out. The manufacturer required a lot of pictures and much evidence than emails to even stand behind their warranty. However, they did and even though it looks like a mountain bike it should be handled like a 10 speed.

The front suspension is great, however you will blow out the bike if you attempt to jump anything oh, even a speed bump. The Brock it is extremely small and at over 14 miles an hour does nothing to move the bike and I suggest replacing not only that when you get it but also the cement tiny seat.

I would give the bike a seven out of ten and not built to last.
