Yes, there were some impacts to buyers whenever there is an e-bike brand exited the US market.

I’ve been exploring the idea of purchasing an e-bike. I see from this post that a lot of companies seem to be leaving the US market. But I also notice that a lot of these are very old (2010, 2012 for example). Does this mean I should be prepared to buy a new bike in 3-5 years if my e-bike is no longer available and parts are not available?
Are there options in some local markets for shops that can fix or maintain these bikes and get parts in a market like ebay?
Most US e-bike brands using popular brand components to design their own e-bike models. You can certainly get any parts from the market just you have to pay for the cost yourself.
GEN3 still care about their warranty given to the buyers, but most e-bike brands just leave the market without any announcement given to its buyers.
Here is a list of e-bike brands you can consider to buy from them – Rad Power Bike, Ride1Up, JUICED Bike, Bike Berry Shop, Specialized, and etc.
