This bike is the perfect mix for my wife (for whom I bought this bike for her birthday) of on road / off road capability (full suspension for comfort and some light mountain biking), fit for a smaller person (she’s 5’4” and she’s tried other mountain bikes that are Small frames but no step through and they are just hard to handle for her, this step through model is perfect for her), and value (at this price and all of the features it is a fantastic buy!
We’re big fans now. We’ve gone on lots of rides and the e-bike 500w motor has sped her up any hill we’ve thrown at her. I love the most about a bike in general is that it levels out the playing field for my wife and I to ride together. The thing I like the most about this specific brand and model is that you get a really solid e-bike that can handle basic trails as well with both incremental and throttle power. Could not be more pleased with my purchase after looking at four other alternatives.
Putting the bike together was a pain and I still get a bit of brake rubbing, so going to have to take it to a shop to get tuned up so they can fix that. In hindsight, I wish I had paid for the professional assembly. But that’s a minor issue compared to the excellent value and quality build this bike is.
Also, there was a missing set of bolts. That delayed the assembly for about two weeks until the customer service team sent us new bolts. But, I’m so happy with the outcome that I’m not taking any stars off the rating.
Our Opinion:
- Fit for smaller person which is 5′ 4″ tall, mainly due to the step through frame make it easy to get on and get off the bike.
- Owner use for city riding and light mountain biking only but in actual the bike can take higher challenge on any rough roads.
- The assembly of the new bike is very important, thus it is better to consider engaging the professional to assist the first assembly job.

X-Treme Sedona 500W was proven a quality e-bike to be used in the hilly town and the speed of going uphill is faster than the other bikes, mainly due to high speed coming from the throttle.
According to the owner reviews, the smart controller is performing well in the acceleration of the bike speed smoothly. At the same time there are some teething problems, complaints by the owners about the difficulty of adjusting the rear suspension, the saddle is not best in softness, and rack bag is hard to secure on the rear rack but all this minor issue can be easily solved.

This sounds like a great mountain bike. The 3 hour charging time is reasonable and the 50+ mile distance with pedal assist is excellent. The weight would easy to handle by a single person if the bike needs to be lifted onto a rack to be transported or lifted over trail debris. Although you list the rear weight capacity as a “con”, I think it’s reasonable to keep the balance of the bike. In short, it’s a sharp-looking bike at a great price. Thanks for posting!
